Made to Order · I–IV

Four pieces, each built one at a time.

Nothing is cut until you ask for it, so the leather reaches you with its oils still in it. Tell us the piece, the finish and your initials; we take it from there.

I

Full-Grain Belt

Cut from a single full-grain hide, edged by hand and trimmed to the measurement you send us.

II

Bifold Wallet

Two panels, one clean fold, stitched along the spine and finished thin so it settles flat in a pocket.

III

Dopp Kit

Built to be opened wet and closed full, with a body that holds its shape on a shelf or in a bag.

Monogram: on the end panel

Small leather key fobs resting on a scrap of hide

IV

Key Fob

A folded loop, stitched and finished smooth at the edges so it wears well in a pocket — the easiest place to start.

Monogram: on the drop, one letter

Monogramming

Initials, struck into the leather.

Choose up to three letters. We set them before the final finish, so the stamp sinks into the leather rather than sitting on top of it.

Tell us the initials in the request card, and say where you would like them if you have a preference. If you do not, we place them where the piece calls for it.

Care & Conditioning

The balm, and when to reach for it.

Leather dries the way skin does: slowly, in heated rooms and dry air. Conditioning is the simplest habit in the care of a piece, and the one that decides how the others age.

  1. 01Brush off dust and grit before anything else. A dry cloth — no water, no soap.
  2. 02Warm a small amount of balm between your fingers and work it in thin coats. More is not better.
  3. 03Let the piece rest overnight, then buff off whatever the leather has not taken.
