Private bridal appointments · Chicago, Illinois

Bring the people who know your face.

Willow & Ivory is a Chicago bridal boutique where the appointment is built like a room with an audience — your mother, your sister, your friends in the chairs in front of the mirror, telling you the truth.

The private appointment

A private room with an audience.

A wedding dress is rarely chosen alone. It is chosen in a room — with the friend who cries first, the mother who notices the back, the sister who has opinions about everything. So the appointment here is built around that room.

You choose the time, you tell us who is coming, and the boutique gathers around your circle: the gowns, the mirrors, the chairs, and as many second opinions as you want to bring through the door.

  1. 01

    Tell us who is coming.

Choose an appointment time and name the people you are bringing — one person, or a whole row of them. The room is yours for the visit.

  2. 02

We pull the gowns before you arrive.

Wedding dresses in the shapes and sizes you asked for are waiting on the rail, so the appointment starts with trying, not searching.

  3. 03

    You try, they react.

You step in front of the mirror, the room answers, and the shortlist gets shorter. This is the part that decides it.

  4. 04

    We finish the details.

Accessories, bridesmaid dresses and alterations are measured and planned in the same visit, while everyone is still in the room.

You will not remember the dress by itself. You will remember who was in the room.

Wedding dresses

The gowns are on the rail when you arrive.

Wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, accessories and alterations — the whole wedding party can be dressed in one place, with one conversation and one set of mirrors.

01

Wedding dresses

The gown itself — pulled in your shapes and your sizes, tried in front of the people who will see it on the day, from first look through to the finishing.

02

Bridesmaid dresses

For the row standing beside you. Bring them all at once or send them in together, and let the line take shape in the same room as your gown.

03

Accessories

Veils, jewelry and the finishing touches, tried on with the dress rather than after it, so you make one complete decision instead of five separate ones.

04

Alterations

Booked as private fittings — your gown, a pinned hem, and an unhurried plan for the fit you want when the day arrives.

Bridesmaid dresses

A row of frames for a row of friends.

The people beside you get dressed too. Bridesmaid dresses are fitted here in the same boutique — same appointment if it suits you, so nobody has to make a separate trip or a separate decision.

Bring them in a group and we will seat them in a line while the dresses come out, one after another, the way it will look on the day.

Accessories & alterations

The small things that finish the dress.

Most of a wedding look is decided long before the aisle — in a veil, a fastening, a hem that finally sits where it should. Both are handled here, with the gown in front of us.

Accessories

Veils, jewelry and finishing touches tried against your own gown, in the same light and the same mirror, so the whole picture arrives at once.

Alterations

Private alteration appointments, pinned to your shape and planned to a date — with the people who were in the room still welcome to come back and see it finished.

Book the room

Say yes in front of the people who'll cry about it.

Appointments are private and arranged by request. Tell us when suits you and who is coming with you, and we will hold the room.

Every appointment is private. Bring as many people as you like — the chairs are already there.
