Programs

One woodland,
five ways in.

Five programs share one stretch of woodland. Start where your family is; the ring widens from there.

  1. 01

    Outdoor preschool

Whole days outside, drop-off to pick-up, in rain, mud, moss and sun.

  2. 02

    Forest kindergarten

The kindergarten year with the trees as the classroom, paced by the season rather than the clock.

  3. 03

    Homeschool enrichment

One woodland day each week that sits alongside learning at home.

  4. 04

    Family nature programs

Grown-ups and children in the same circle, learning the place side by side — the easiest first ring to step into.

  5. 05

    Summer camp

Long light, warm dirt, and days that begin at the creek and end somewhere in the ferns.

Membership

A ring is a standing promise.

Joining Wildwood holds a place in the woodland across the seasons — and holds a place open for another family at the same time.

  1. First

    Come out to the woods

Family nature programs run through the year and are the gentlest way in. Watch a session in motion before you decide anything.

  2. Then

    Choose your ring

Outdoor preschool, forest kindergarten, homeschool enrichment, family nature programs or summer camp.

  3. After that

    Stay through the seasons

A child who returns year after year is the whole idea. The longer the stay, the wider the ring grows.

Scholarships

A ring that opens a place.

Some families in Bend cannot yet say yes to a season outdoors. Scholarship rings are how the circle widens — pooled gifts that become places in the woods.

Family nature programs

A child and a grown-up in the same circle, with tuition for the season covered.

A wider ring

Outdoor preschool

Whole days outdoors, from drop-off to pick-up, for a family who could not otherwise say yes.

A whole year's ring

Forest kindergarten

A full year in the woods at the pace of the season, from the first frost to the last.

Give to the ring

Every gift, whatever its size, joins the same fund.
