01 · Honey

Raw wildflower honey and comb honey, kept close to the field.

Our hives sit in the orchards and wildflower ground around Hood River. Wildflower honey is bottled raw straight from the frames, comb honey is cut in the wax the bees built, and the wax left over goes back into candles.

Raw wildflower honey

Bottled raw from the season's bloom, so each jar carries what the valley was doing that month.

Comb honey

Cut comb left in its own wax, for the people who want the whole thing.

02 · Beeswax candles

A slower light, poured from the comb.

Beeswax keeps the scent of the hive with it — warm wax, a trace of wildflower honey, a little clover. We pour in short runs, so what sits on the shelf changes as the season does.

  1. 01

    Low, warm light

A flame that sits close and quiet, the way a hive sounds at dusk.

  2. 02

    Scent of the comb

Warm wax and honey underneath, nothing sharp laid over the top.

  3. 03

    Small runs

Poured a few trays at a time, then left to firm and settle.

Hives that travel into the orchard.

Through bloom season we move hives into orchards around the valley. If you grow fruit here and want bees on it, get in touch early and we can talk about placing hives on your ground.
