Sound, light and control — planned room by room.

Wasatch Sound & Smart designs and installs home theater, whole-home audio, lighting and shade control, security cameras and the structured network that carries them — then programs the house to run from one screen.

What we install

Six systems, one plan.

Design, wiring, installation and programming stay under one roof, so the schedule never waits on another trade to finish.

01

Home theater design

Screen size, seating distance, speaker layout and room acoustics worked out before the walls close up.

02

Whole-home audio

In-ceiling, in-wall and outdoor speakers zoned room by room, at a volume you can hold a conversation over.

03

Lighting & shade control

Dimmers, keypads and motorized shades set to scenes that follow the daylight instead of a switch.

04

Security cameras

Coverage at the doors, driveway and perimeter, recording where you choose and viewable from your phone.

05

Structured network wiring

A wired backbone and a clean rack, so streaming, cameras and control panels are not competing for Wi-Fi.

06

Smart home programming

Scenes, schedules and one interface for every system above, programmed to the way your household actually runs.

Room by room

The house, worked floor by floor.

A great room, a kitchen and a lower-level media room each ask for something different. The plan starts with a drawing of your house, not a catalog of gear.

Placements, wiring and control are drawn per room before anything is cut in.
01 Upper floor

Bedrooms and baths

Speakers in the ceiling at low volume, shades that open on a schedule, and a keypad by the bed so nobody walks the hall to shut the house down.

  • In-ceiling audio
  • Motorized shades
  • Bedside keypads
02 Main floor

Kitchen, great room, dining

Conversation-level audio in the kitchen, a calibrated picture in the great room, and lighting scenes that move from morning to dinner without a phone in your hand.

  • Home theater
  • Lighting scenes
  • Distributed audio
03 Lower level & outside

Media room, entry, yard

A media room that does not shake the floor above it, cameras on the doors and driveway, and a network rack keeping every stream and panel on a wire.

  • Media room
  • Security cameras
  • Structured wiring
How a project runs

From first walkthrough to final walkthrough.

Four stages, and the same crew from drawing to demo — so the plan you approve is the system you end up with.

01

Consultation

We walk the house with you, talk through how each room actually gets used, and flag where cable can still be run.

02

Design

A room-by-room plan: placements, lighting loads, shade widths, camera views and the equipment list behind them.

03

Rough-in & trim

Cable is pulled, labeled and tested before drywall; speakers, screens, keypads and shades are set after the finishes.

04

Programming & handoff

Scenes, schedules and access are programmed to your routines, then we walk the finished system with you.
