Electric car charging on a rain-slick Portland street at night

Portland, Oregon — EV charging installation

Charged in any weather.

Portland rains. Your car doesn't care. VoltWay installs home chargers, commercial stations and the panel capacity behind them — permits, load management and upkeep handled from the first site visit.

01 — Services

Everything between the meter and the car.

A charger is only as good as the circuit behind it. We plan the whole run — supply, conduit, permits and settings — so the first plug-in works and keeps working.

  • 01

    Home charger installation

Level 2 chargers mounted, wired and commissioned where you actually park — garage, carport or driveway.

  • 02

    Commercial stations

Charging for parking lots, fleets and customer spaces, sized for how many vehicles come through.

  • 03

    Panel upgrades

When the service can't carry the load, we build the capacity it needs and pull the permit for it.

  • 04

    Permits

Paperwork, inspections and utility coordination handled from first submission to sign-off.

  • 05

    Load management

Smart scheduling and current limiting so the charger and the rest of the building share supply calmly.

  • 06

    Maintenance

Diagnostics, repairs and seasonal checks long after the install — because hardware lives outdoors here.

02 — Process

Permits planned, pulled and signed off.

Every install moves through the same four steps, and you know where it stands at each one.

Step 01

Site visit

We look at your panel, your parking, your daily mileage and where the conduit can realistically run.

Step 02

Design & permits

A right-sized plan goes to the city and your utility, with load calculations attached.

Step 03

Install day

Conduit, wiring, mounting and commissioning — and the workspace left the way we found it.

Step 04

Power on

Tested, tuned to your schedule and walked through with you. In the rain, if that's the day.

Keeping it humming through the wet months.

Outdoor hardware in the Northwest deserves a look now and then. Maintenance and load management keep your installation quick, safe and steady as your home or lot changes.

  • Charger diagnostics Full health check on the unit and the circuit feeding it.
  • Connector & cable care Pins, cabling and holsters checked for wear and moisture.
  • Scheduling review Off-peak windows and amperage tuned to how you actually charge.
  • Load management Current limits rebalanced as panels, appliances or fleets change.
  • Fault tracing Error codes and intermittent dropouts tracked back to the source.
  • Repair & replacement Parts, swaps and re-commissioning when something finally gives.
