Services

What we print

Invitations, cards and stationery all run off the same hand-fed press, in the same studio, by the same hands. The projects change; the care does not.

  1. 01

    Wedding invitations

Invitations, reply cards, envelopes and day-of pieces, printed as one matched suite.

  2. 02

    Business cards

Thick cotton stock and a deep impression, with foil or blind deboss for the details that carry your name.

  3. 03

    Custom stationery

Letterheads, notecards and personal papers, set up so a later reorder can match the first run.

  4. 04

    Letterpress printing

Your artwork or ours, pressed into cotton paper on a hand-fed press, one sheet at a time.

  5. 05

    Foil stamping

Metallic and matte foils, hot-stamped on their own or alongside the print, on cards and covers.

How an order runs

  1. 01

    Talk it through

Tell us what you are making, roughly how many, and when you need it. We suggest papers and inks and send a quote.

  2. 02

    Proof and approval

We set your wording and spacing, then send a proof to read aloud. Nothing goes to press until you approve it.

  3. 03

    On the press

Your design is printed one sheet at a time on the hand-fed press, with each pull checked against the last.

  4. 04

    Finishing

Cutting, scoring and foil, then wrapped, packed and sent from the studio in Richmond.

Hold the paper before you commit

Photographs flatten letterpress. The depth of the impression and the weight of a cotton sheet only make sense in your hands. Our sample kit is the shortest way to feel what your project will become.

  • Printed pieces on the cotton stocks we run most often
  • A swatch set of papers to compare weight and tooth
  • Ink chips across our olive, rust and neutral ranges
