The Resting Place Ministry offers spiritual direction, grief support, marriage mentoring, and retreat days to people across Tompkins County and the Finger Lakes. Whatever you are carrying, you do not have to carry it alone.

Companionship, at whatever pace you need.

Each offering is an unhurried hour with someone who will listen. Booking takes a minute, and you can change your time by phone.

How it works

Booking a time is simple.

Request a time

Choose the session you would like and share a few times that suit you. It takes about a minute.

We confirm together

You will hear back by phone to settle on a time that fits, and to answer anything you would like to ask first.

Meet and begin

We meet at the agreed time in Ithaca or elsewhere in Tompkins County. From there, we go at your pace.

The grief support group and community yoga & prayer are free and need no booking — call and we will tell you when they meet.

Community

Free, open, and unhurried.

Two regular gatherings where anyone is welcome. There is no fee and nothing to sign up for in advance.
