The walk · five moments

Here’s where you’ll say I do — and where the night keeps going.

This is the order of a day at The Meadow Barn, drawn the way you would walk it. Read it through once, then come and do the same thing on the ground with us.

1

Moment one · arrival

Arrival at the gate

Every tour starts where your guests will start. We walk the entrance together, so you can see the first minute of your wedding — where cars stop, where the road noise falls away, and what opens up in front of everyone.

Moment two · the ceremony

The outdoor ceremony, in the open meadow

You stand in the meadow with the sky around you and get a real feel for the light and the weather at that hour. The ceremony space sits on the route between arrival and the barn.

Moment three · the barn

The barn, for the middle of the day

The barn is the covered middle of the day — the room where a ceremony turns into a celebration. It sits on the same property as the meadow, and it is the space that carries you if the Bozeman sky changes its mind.

Moment four · the evening

The reception hall, for the long evening

Dinner, toasts and dancing happen indoors in the reception hall. Walking it now is how you decide where the tables go, and where you would rather be standing when the toasts start.

Moment five · the send-off

The send-off, back under the sky

The route ends the way the night does: outdoors, at the edge of the meadow, everyone together one last time before cars. So you can picture the last five minutes as clearly as the first.

Standing in it is different from reading about it. We will walk the same route with you, in order, and stop wherever you want to stop.

Book your walk-through

Before you tour

Four questions a tour should already be answering.

Couples ask the same things once they are standing on the property. The walk-through is sequenced to answer them in order, on the ground, rather than from a photograph.

  1. 01

    Where do guests arrive?

We start the tour at the gate, because the first minute sets the tone for everything that follows it.

  2. 02

    Where does the ceremony happen?

Out in the meadow. You stand in the spot itself, at roughly the hour you would be standing there, and feel the site before you commit to it.

  3. 03

What is the barn for, and what is the hall for?

Both are covered rooms that do different jobs. Walking them back to back is how you decide which part of the day belongs where.

  4. 04

    Where does the night end?

At the edge of the meadow, outdoors. You see the send-off route before you decide anything about the rest of the day.

The grounds

One property, three places to be.

The day moves on foot here: the meadow for your vows, the barn for the celebration, the reception hall for the long evening. All three are on the same property.

  • 01
    Outdoor ceremonies

The open meadow, mown and framed by grass, with the sky doing the decorating.

  • 02
    Ceremony space

A low arch and a clear aisle, set in the middle of the field.

  • 03
    Barn rentals

The covered room that carries the middle of the day, beams and all.

  • 04
    Reception hall

Dinner, toasts and dancing, indoors, for as long as the night runs.

Book a tour

Come walk the route in person.

A tour follows the same sequence as this page — gate, meadow, barn, hall, send-off — with time to stop and ask the practical questions at each one.

  1. 1

Tell us a date and a rough guest count.

Even a loose idea helps us put you on the right part of the calendar.

  2. 2

    We reply with tour times.

Send your request and we will come back to you with options that fit your week.

  3. 3

You walk it, and ask us everything.

Bring your list. The tour is built for questions, not for a slideshow.

Tours are arranged around the walk above, so please allow time to go the whole way round.
