Estate tastings
The quietest hour on the ridge. A seated tasting of estate wines, poured in the shade of the tasting room while the slope is still cool and the shadow is still long.

Estate tastings, vineyard tours and live music weekends on a slope above Paso Robles, poured by the hour rather than the clock.
A day on the ridge runs from the first pour to the last long shadow. Take it hour by hour, and book the one that suits you.

Walk the rows at the top of the day, when the sun stands still and the shadow is shortest. The slope sets the route; we follow the dirt between the blocks.

Notes carry further in the late light. Music on the terrace, glasses in hand, the shadow line climbing the far slope as the day starts to lean.

The ridge, held for an evening. A long table among the vines and estate wine poured for whoever you have gathered.
Enquire about the ridge
A sundial asks for three things: a slope, a sun and patience. We have the first two in surplus.
The shadow line crosses the eastern blocks first, then the terrace, then the far ridge — and the wine tastes different at each crossing. We plant by the slope, pick by the light, and pour accordingly.
When the shadow straightens the tasting room closes and the cellar opens. Wine club shipments leave the ridge from here — the easiest way to keep drinking by our light from somewhere else.
One note per shipment. Nothing else.
Tastings are by reservation. Tell us when the light suits you and we will hold a place on the ridge.
