Tempe, Arizona — decorative concrete
Stonecast Concrete Studio works in decorative concrete across Tempe: stamped patios, polished concrete floors, cast countertops, decorative overlays and pool deck resurfacing. Tell us which surface you have in mind and we will plan the work around it.
The range
Every project starts by naming the surface. These are the five we work in, with the places each one holds up best.
Poured on site and patterned while the concrete is still workable, so the surface and the slab behind it are one piece.
Ground in stages to the level of sheen you choose, revealing the aggregate that is already in the slab.
Cast to your dimensions, then ground and sealed. Edge profile, thickness and sink cut-outs are settled before the pour.
A bonded resurfacing layer for concrete that is sound but worn, giving an old slab a new surface without replacing it.
Decks and surrounds given an even, textured finish that stands up to sun, splash and bare feet.
Selected work
The same finishes from the range, poured, ground, cast and sealed on patios, floors and kitchen counters around Tempe.
Cast in place and stamped while the concrete is still workable, so the pattern belongs to the slab rather than sitting on top of it.
Ground and honed to a matte sheen, with the aggregate left as the only pattern in the room.
Cast to the room's dimensions, ground back at the edges and sealed for daily kitchen use.
Colour, texture and edge profile — settled before anything is poured.
How it works
We start with the surface you are drawn to and how the space gets used. Bring photos, paint chips or a plan if you have one.
Pattern, colour and joint layout are settled, then marked out on site before any forming begins.
Base preparation, formwork and the pour, followed by stamping, grinding or overlaying while the concrete is at the right stage.
Edges, sealer and cure, with care notes so the surface keeps reading the way it did the day it was finished.
