Solstice Skin & Laser Request a consultation

Solstice Skin & Laser — Boise, Idaho

Most people want to know about Tuesday.
Let's talk about Tuesday.

Before booking a treatment, most people have one question the website never answers: what will the rest of the week be like? So we've drawn it. Every treatment below is a strip — day 0 is the appointment, and every day after it is marked with what it usually asks of you.

Day 0 is the appointment. Everything after it is what this page is about.

How to read a strip

Every treatment is a week. We draw the week instead of describing it.

A consultation will cover what a treatment does. It covers far less often what the days afterwards ask of you — whether you can sit in a meeting on Thursday, whether anyone will notice, whether you'll want to be in a photograph on Saturday.

So the page is organised the other way round. Each treatment has its own strip, and the strips are different lengths, because the weeks genuinely are. Read them as schedules, not as promises.

  • The day of your appointment.
  • A day that asks something of you — swelling, redness, flaking, or simply staying out of the sun.
  • A day that asks nothing, and a day you can plan around normally.

The weeks, treatment by treatment

Five strips, drawn to the same scale.

The longer the strip, the more the week asks of you. Find the strip that fits the week you actually have.

Side by side

One week costs you an afternoon. The other costs you a long weekend.

Neither is the wrong choice. They answer different questions — one is about upkeep, the other is about repair. Put both weeks on the same page, and the decision usually makes itself.

Plain answers

The questions people ask once they've already booked.

Will anyone be able to tell?
By the time you're back in a meeting, usually not. The strips say exactly which days are the visible ones — and those are the days you'd want to know about in advance rather than afterwards.
Can I work the next day?
For some treatments, yes. For others, the honest answer is that you'll be happier at home. That's the difference between a six-day strip and a ten-day one.
What if something is already in my calendar?
Then we work backwards from it. Tell us the date, and the treatment day gets chosen to fit the week you actually have, not the week a brochure assumes.
How do I know which strip is mine?
That's what the consultation is for. Bring the week you can spare and we'll match a treatment to it — including the option of waiting for a better month.

Start here

Tell us which week you're working with.

A consultation is where the strip becomes yours: your calendar, your skin, your tolerance for a quiet few days.

Nothing is booked on this form. It's a request for a time to talk it through — and if you already know which treatment you're considering, say so. If you don't, say that instead.
