Services · What we pour

Six kinds of work, one crew.

We work residential and light commercial concrete in Duluth — new pours and replacements, foundations and the flatwork that sits against them.

01

Driveways and aprons

Poured to grade, jointed and finished with a broom texture that keeps its grip through a northern winter.

Driveway
02

Stamped patios

Pattern pressed into the slab while it is still green, then sealed — a surface that reads like stone and pours like concrete.

Patio
03

Garage slabs

A flat slab on grade with control joints cut clean, so the floor stays true under vehicles and tools.

Slab
04

Retaining walls

Cast to hold a slope back, with drainage planned so water moves away from the wall instead of into it.

Retaining
05

Poured foundation walls

Formed to line and poured in one lift — a wall face with a grain you can read.

Foundation
06

Tear-out and replacement

Old slab or wall out, the base corrected and compacted, the new surface poured and the site swept before we go.

Process · Grade to finish

From grade to finish, in four passes.

Concrete is unforgiving of a rushed decision. The order below is the order we work in — each pass finished before the next one starts.

  1. 01

    Read the ground

Grade, drainage, access for a truck, and how the site sits through a northern freeze — read before a number is given.

  2. 02

    Form and set

Forms set to line, edges trued and the subgrade compacted before anything is placed.

  3. 03

    Pour and finish

One continuous pour, then the finish — broom, trowel or stamp — worked while the concrete is still green.

  4. 04

    Cure and hand over

Joints cut, forms stripped, site swept. You get the finished surface and a note on how to keep it.
