Trips and guiding

Days on the water,
run by guides

Tell us who is coming and when you can travel. We match the water, the guide and the pace to your group, then put the date on the calendar.

01 — Float

Guided Float Trips

A full day on the water from a drift boat, guided by an angler who knows the stretch. Rods, flies and the shuttle are part of the day, so your time goes into fishing rather than arranging.

Request a float trip
02 — Wade

Walk-and-Wade

On foot, reading the water up close. Slower and quieter than a float, with more casts into the right seams — the best way to learn how the river actually holds fish.

Request a wade day
05 — Group

Corporate Retreat Days

A guided day off-site on the river for your team, run end to end. Mixed experience is welcome — first-timers and regulars fish the same water in the same day.

Clinics and bench nights

Learn the cast.
Learn the fly.

Small groups, real instruction, and two ways in: casting clinics on the lawn and water, and tying workshops at the vise.

Casting Clinics

Group and private sessions that start on grass and finish on the water. We work from the cast you already have and build toward a drift that fishes, in a boat or tight to a bank.

  • Loop control
  • Line speed
  • Presentation
  • Mending and drift
  • Private sessions

Fly Tying Workshops

Bench nights with materials on the table and a vise in front of you. We tie patterns for the water you plan to fish, and you leave with flies that hold up after a few fish.

  • Materials
  • Proportion
  • Local patterns
  • Tools and setup

How a guided day runs

One shape to the day,
whichever trip you book

The river sets the pace. We keep the day moving, change the rig when the water tells us to, and make sure you finish knowing more than you started.

  1. Step 01

    Meet and rig

Waders, boots and rods checked before we leave the lot. If you are new to the gear, we set it up with you rather than for you.

  2. Step 02

    On the water

First light and the first seams. The boat goes in or the boots get wet, and you are casting within the first half hour.

  3. Step 03

    Read it, then change it

Midday we move — new water, new rig, different depth. This is usually the stretch of the day where the fishing turns.

  4. Step 04

    Reset on the bank

A break on the bank, then back at it with whatever the river told us in the morning. Flies get changed and leaders get rebuilt.

  5. Step 05

    Off the water

Nets, dry-out and a run through of what worked. If you are back for a clinic or a second day, we will tell you what to work on.

Bring layers. Mornings come in cold on the water and the afternoons warm up slowly.

Booking

Send the date.
We will confirm it.

Pick the trip or clinic you want and a date that suits you. We check the calendar, match you with a guide, and come back with a meet time and what to bring.

  1. 01

    Send the request

Pick the trip or clinic and the date. A short note about your group helps us match the right guide and the right stretch of water.

  2. 02

    We check the calendar

We look at the season calendar and the water, then come back with a confirmation, a meet time and the plan for the day.

  3. 03

    You get the details

Where to meet, what to bring, and what to expect on the water that week. Corporate days get the same run-through for the whole group.

Corporate and group bookings

Give us your group size and rough dates in the notes field. We build the day around the group, whether that is eight first-timers or a smaller team of regular anglers.
