Racks that keep changing
Donated clothing arrives in waves — denim, wool, workwear, the occasional prom dress. Sizes and eras never repeat, so the rack you skipped last week is a different rack today.

Furniture, bags, boxes, the whole back of the garage. If it's too big for the car, request a pickup window and we'll come get it and put it back to work.

On the floor
Donations land every week and nothing sits long. Nothing gets sorted into a neat look-alike row, either. Here's what keeps coming through the door — and what to look for first.

Donated clothingVintage housewares with a little wear and a lot of use left in them: mixing bowls, casserole dishes, glassware, the odd lamp with a story.
Vintage housewaresSecondhand furniture shows up in back and leaves through the front — armchairs with a past, kitchen tables with a little history, dressers that survived one move already.
Secondhand furniture
The big stuff lives in back and it moves fast. Everything here arrived as a donation and leaves as somebody's next thing — sometimes in the same afternoon.

Once a week we re-tag the entire floor — clothing, housewares, and the big stuff in back. The tag on the item is its own short story: it says what we found and what it's ready for. Come read a few, take one home, and come back next week for a store that looks nothing like this one.

Got a couch, a bag of coats, or a whole garage's worth of housewares? Tell us what you've got and where it lives. We'll schedule a pickup window and take it from there.
The next chapter
Second Story Thrift is a nonprofit, and the floor is the classroom. Donations stock the store; the store is where job training happens — tagging, sorting, lifting, running a register, working a pickup run. Skills you can carry to any counter in town.
