Santa Fe · New Mexico

Step into
the kitchen.

Culinary travel from Santa Fe — cooking vacations, market tours, wine pairings and chef-led workshops, all built around the food of this region.

Come through. The table is set.

The rooms

Five doors, five ways to travel.

Each journey is a room you step through — shop, cook, walk, taste — with something simple waiting on the table when you get there.

Hands working at a kitchen counter strewn with vegetables

Room 01

Cooking vacations

Days that move at the pace of a kitchen — shop in the morning, cook in the afternoon, eat late.

A market stall piled with dried chiles and squash

Room 02

Market tours

Walk the stalls with a chef who knows which chile to buy and which to leave behind.

Two glasses of red wine and an open bottle on a linen-set table

Room 03

Wine pairings

Bottles chosen for the plate in front of you, poured slowly at the long table.

Hands kneading dough on a floured wooden board

Room 04

Chef-led workshops

Hands in the dough, questions out loud, and a table to sit down at when the cooking is done.

Green chiles roasting on a metal grate over an open flame

Room 05

Regional cuisine immersion

Chile, corn, squash and smoke — the pantry of this region, cooked the way it is cooked here.

How it works

The road is short.
The table is long.

Every journey is planned by hand, around the markets and kitchens that are open while you are here.

  1. 01

    Choose your road

Tell us what you would like to cook, taste or learn, and how much time you have.

  2. 02

    We set the table

We build your days around the markets, the kitchens and the people who run them, then send you the plan.

  3. 03

    Sit down and cook

Arrive, tie on an apron, and take your place at a table that is already set.

The reward

There is a lemon bowl on the table.

The reward is the same in every room: a table, a bowl of lemons, and whatever the day produced.

We keep the itineraries light so the meals can be long — and so there is still room for walking, for markets, and for the quiet between courses.
