Give it a
current.

Clothing, housewares and furniture leave your porch, pass through the store, and come back out as community grants. Your old chair has a river to run.

Ways to give

One river,
four ways to move it.

Everything at Rust & Relic starts as something you no longer need. Pick a channel and the current carries it the rest of the way.

  1. 01

    Donate

Clothing, housewares and furniture come in through the donation door — or we collect them from your curb.

  2. 02

    Volunteer

Shifts on the sales floor, at the donation door, and riding along on pickup runs across town.

  3. 03

    Membership

Recurring support that keeps the racks full, the donation door staffed and the pickup schedule running.

  4. 04

    Community grants

What the river gives back — grants to Chattanooga organizations doing the work on the ground.

Donation pickup

We come
to your curb.

Pickup is where the current starts. Bag it, box it, or leave it on the porch — we do the lifting and the loading.

  1. Tell us what's leaving

A closet, a garage, a whole household. Clothing, housewares and furniture all ride the same truck.

  2. Pick a window

We run pickups across Chattanooga and the surrounding neighborhoods.

  3. We do the carrying

Our crew loads everything and delivers it to the donation door for sorting.

The sales floor

What the current
is carrying.

Shop the same current donations feed. Store sales keep the racks stocked, the donation door open and the pickup runs on the road.

  • Clothing

Racks of everyday wear, sorted and hung by volunteers.

  • Housewares

Kitchen, glass, books and small finds on the shelves.

  • Furniture

Chairs, tables and casegoods that came in from Chattanooga homes.

Volunteer shifts

Cross the river
with us.

A few hours is all it takes to carry a donation from the curb to the sales floor. Come once a week or once a season — the current keeps moving either way.

The delta

Where the
current lands.

The river widens out here. Store sales and donations come back to Chattanooga as community grants, alongside the volunteer hours that keep everything moving.

Community grants

Grants are one of the ways the store gives back — funds returning to local organizations doing the work on the ground in Chattanooga.
