What we play

Four points in the day where the strings do the work.

A wedding day moves. We play to the way yours does — where guests gather, where the room goes quiet, where the music can lift its voice.

01

Ceremony prelude

Guests arrive to a quiet bed of strings, chosen to suit the room, the acoustics and the mood you want as people find their seats.

  • Repertoire chosen with you
  • We coordinate with your venue and planner
  • Early arrival and tuning before the doors open
02

Processional

The walk itself. Your processional is cued live — we watch the aisle, not a clock — so grandparents, wedding party and the two of you each get their own entrance.

  • Cued live, piece by piece
  • A separate piece for the couple
  • Recessional ready the moment you turn
03

Cocktail hour

The room moves and the music keeps up: familiar melodies arranged for strings, played at a volume that lets people talk and still hear something beautiful.

  • Indoors or out in the open air
  • We follow the venue's sound plan
  • We play through the room change
04

Reception

Background that becomes the moment — arrival, dinner and toasts played under, then a first dance before we hand the floor to your band or DJ.

  • Arrival, dinner and cake
  • A first-dance arrangement for strings
  • Clear handover cues with your sound team

Custom arrangements

When the music has to be yours, we write it for strings.

Some couples need a piece that doesn't exist for strings yet. Send us the song and the moment it belongs to — a family favorite, a hymn, something from a first date — and we will arrange it for the ensemble and play it on the day.

Hour by hour

The shape of the day, and where we sit inside it.

Every wedding keeps its own hours. This is the arc we build our playing around — the moments where live strings carry the room.

Times are yours to set. The shape stays the same.

  1. 3:30

    Prelude

We arrive early, tune, and start playing as the first guests walk in and the room fills up around them.

  2. 4:00

    Processional

The aisle. Cued live, piece by piece, from the first walk to the last.

  3. 4:20

    Recessional

Something joyful as you come back down the aisle and the applause starts.

  4. 5:00

    Cocktail hour

Strings over conversation — outside under the trees, or in the room next door while the ceremony space is turned around.

  5. 6:30

    Dinner and toasts

Background for courses and speeches. Present, never louder than the person holding the microphone.

  6. 8:00

    The handover

A first dance, then the floor goes to your band or DJ. We leave them the cues and slip away.
