The progression wall

Every class has a next class.

Five rungs, one chain. Dancers move along it at their own pace, and each rung names the classes underneath it — so a parent always knows what comes next.

01

Creative Movement

Scarves, songs and stories. Dancers learn how a class works, how to take a turn, and how good it feels to move together.

02

Classical Ballet I–II

Positions, port de bras, barre and centre work — the vocabulary and the strength that everything above it rests on.

03

Classical Ballet III–IV

Longer combinations and more demanding allegro, with the alignment and control that pointe work will eventually ask for.

04

Tap & Jazz

Rhythm, syncopation and style. Tap and jazz add a second vocabulary to a dancer’s training, and a different kind of confidence with it.

Pointe Readiness

Readiness is built, not rushed: footwork, ankle strength and turnout alignment, prepared in class well before pointe shoes arrive.

Inside the studio

Classical training, taught with a light hand.

Rosewood Ballet & Dance is a Chattanooga studio for dancers from three years old upward. Creative movement starts the chain; classical ballet levels I–IV, tap and jazz carry it; pointe readiness prepares the next leap. Recital and costume packages are part of the season, not an afterthought.

Dress-up season

Recital and costume packages.

Recital season is where class work becomes a performance. Two packages gather what a family needs — one for the stage, one for the costume — so recital week stays about dancing.

01

Recital Package

The performance season gathered into one decision: rehearsal leading up to the stage, and the arrangements that get your dancer there ready.

Costume Package
