01 Boarding Barn
Boarding at Riverbend is kept simple: two options, quoted by the month. Book a tour and we will walk the barn, the paddocks and the pasture together, so you can see exactly where your horse will live.
02 Lesson Arena
Ride in the outdoor arena with eyes on you the whole way. Private lessons are one-to-one; group lessons put you in with other riders working at the same pace.
03 Pony Ring
Pony rides are for the youngest riders — a slow lap of the ring on a pony that knows the way round. Rides are short, unhurried and easy to add to a lesson day.
$30 per pony ride. Book the ring by the half hour and bring the family along.

Lessons, pony rides and boarding tours all run on the same simple schedule. Pick a time that suits you and we will sort the rest.
Look over the calendar and pick the day and hour that works for you — mornings and late afternoons go first.
Let us know the experience level and how many are coming, so we can match you with the right horse.
We confirm your slot and send directions to the farm along with a note on what to wear and bring.
Come a few minutes early, park by the barn, and we will get you or your rider mounted and moving.

Riverbend Stables sits in Hillsborough, North Carolina, and riders come to us from Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Mebane and the farmland between them.
