A concrete skatepark lit by cold floodlights at night

Night session

Somebody has to keep it lit.

The park doesn't close. It just gets dark.

01 — Park after dark

Four lights.
Four jobs.

The park is concrete and steel, but it runs on people and power. Every floodlight over this place is carrying something: a lesson, a camp week, a patched crack, a deck that gets a second life.

01 / Flat

Lessons under the lights

Lessons run into the evening so beginners get the park at its quietest. Coaches, spare pads and a lit flat ground — first push, first roll away.

02 / Bowl

Youth camps

When camp is running, the deep end belongs to the kids. Coaches down in the flat bottom and helmets on every head until the last one climbs out.

03 / Rail

Park stewardship

Coping wears down, bearings dry out, trash shows up. Stewards sweep, patch and repaint so the park is still worth walking to on a Tuesday night.

04 / Ledge

Gear drive

Decks, trucks, helmets and pads that stopped being used somewhere else get collected, sorted and put back into the neighborhood.

02 — Whole park lit

When every light is on, everybody skates.

Community events are the nights the whole place goes bright at once: first-timers, locals who haven't been back in years, kids borrowing boards, somebody's parent finally standing on one. Every light we own, on at the same time.

03 — Switch panel

Pick what you want to hold up.

Donations are what keep the breakers on. Nothing here is abstract — every switch is a part of the park and a thing that happens under the lights. Choose the ones you want to keep running.

Flip what matters to you. One-time or recurring is up to you.

04 — Night shift

The roster always has room on it.

You don't have to be good at skateboarding to be useful here. Somebody has to hold the broom, sort the gear and stand on the flat with a spare helmet. Tell us which shift you can hold.

Lights on

Keep the lights on.

Give, or take a shift. Either one keeps a light over the flat, over the bowl, over a kid who just figured out how to roll away.

Donations and volunteers are what keep the breakers on.
