Weekend backpack program
Discreet bags of easy, no-cook food for students to carry home on Friday and open over the weekend. School staff and pantry volunteers pack them together, and the bag stays plain so nothing marks a student out.

The window boardPosted this morning
On the shelves today
Volunteers count the shelves each morning and write the board before the doors open. If you need something you don’t see, ask at the door.
See what’s here before you make the trip. The shelves are posted in the window like a ledger, and every pickup window below is yours to claim.

Windows open a week ahead and close as they fill. No appointment is needed for a walk-up visit.
How it works
Client-choice means the shelves work like a small grocery store. You pick what your household will actually eat — no pre-packed bag you didn’t ask for, and no explaining yourself at the door.
Stock is posted before you come, so you know what’s on the shelves today and what’s running low.
Pick a pickup time that fits your week. It gets written on the window list and held for you.
Walk the aisles on your own or with a volunteer guide, and take what your household will use.
Emergency food boxes
For the days that don’t go to plan, we keep boxes of shelf-stable staples stacked and ready by the window. Ask for one at the door — no appointment, no paperwork to fill out first.
Beyond the pantry door
Not every household can reach the window during open hours. Two programs carry the same stock out to schools and neighborhoods across Twin Falls.

The pantry van loads up and comes to neighborhoods that can’t easily reach the window. Crates open at the curb with the same stock you’d find on the shelves inside.
Diaper & hygiene closet
Diapers, wipes, soap, toothpaste, shampoo and period supplies — the things a food box can’t cover. Pick them up alongside your groceries, or ask a volunteer to add them to a route bag.
Volunteer sorting shifts
Shifts run at the pantry and at the long packing tables — sorting donations, dating cans, building route crates. Come for one morning, come every week; the shelves keep their promises either way.
