Restoration House Church · Toledo, Ohio

The river doesn’t stop at the city line. Neither does restoration.

A house on the current. Sunday gathering at 10:30 am, Restoration Kids, a Tuesday food pantry, free community dinners and home-repair serve days — all of it moving along the Maumee and out through Lucas County.

01 — The Story

From the river to the roof, we’re rebuilding together.

Toledo is a river town before it is anything else. Water came first, then the mills, then the blocks of houses that still stand along them. Restoration House is one of those houses — kept open, kept warm, kept busy.

01

The river

The Maumee runs past every neighborhood we serve. It doesn’t check a map before it moves, and neither do we.

02

The house

A building brought back into use — doors open on Sunday, tables out on Tuesday, the lights on for whoever walks in.

03

The work

Home-repair serve days put neighbors on ladders together: porches, paint, small fixes that keep a house standing.

02 — Sunday

Sunday, 10:30 am. Coffee’s on before the band is.

One gathering, loud and warm, with Restoration Kids running alongside it. Come early, stay late, sit wherever you like — the door is the only thing we’re strict about keeping open.

03 — The Week

Tuesday pantry, free dinners, serve days.

The current keeps moving Monday through Saturday. Three things happen here every week, and all three are open to the neighborhood — no membership, no dress code, no fine print.

01

Tuesday food pantry

Doors open on Tuesdays. Neighbors come through with bags and boxes, volunteers keep the tables stocked, and the room fills up and empties out again.

02

Free community dinners

Long tables, shared dishes, free to anyone who walks in. Bring the kids, bring a neighbor, bring nothing at all.

03

Home-repair serve days

We go out in crews and work on houses around the neighborhood — roofs, porches, paint, the small repairs that make a big difference to a block.

If you’ve got a Saturday and a pair of work gloves, we’ve got a place for you on the ladder.

04 — The Watershed

A service area the size of a river’s reach.

Restoration House serves neighbors across the Maumee watershed — from the city out along the river to the suburbs and the county line. If you’re inside it, you’re already on our map.
