Kansas City, MO · Barbecue catering
Full-service catering, drop-off packages, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and whole-hog roasts. You bring the crowd. We bring the pit.
The lineup
A drop-off package for the office. A rehearsal dinner for forty. A whole hog in the backyard with the neighbors leaning over the fence. Same pit, same fire, same food you would stand in line for.
We bring the pit, cook it out on site and work the line from the first plate to the last.
Hot, packed and ready to serve. You put it out, we head back to the pit.
The night before the big one, everybody eats properly.
Feeding a whole team is a decision. Make it a good one.
The whole animal, low and slow, carved where you are standing.
The pit's flavor, bottled and bagged, sent home with your guests.
Full-service means we set up the pit, cook it out and run the line for your guests. Drop-off means it arrives hot, packed and ready to serve. Same barbecue either way — you decide how much of the day you want to hand us.
Rehearsal dinners, corporate events and whole-hog roasts all start the same way: tell us the date and the headcount, and we build the rest of the plan around it.
The run
The date, the place, how many mouths you are feeding. That is the whole starting point.
Meats, sides, sauces and a plan sized to the crowd — full-service or drop-off.
Low and slow, hours ahead of you. On your site or back at ours, the smoke starts early.
Line open, plates full, seconds for anyone who asks nicely.
At the gate
The sauce and the rub we cook with, sold by the bottle and the jar. Add it to a catering order, or pick it up on the way out.
Long tables, full plates, cold drinks, second helpings. That is the whole point of hiring a pit.
