What do you need today?

Apply for housing, pay rent, report a repair, or ask about a voucher. Pick the task below and finish it online.

Before you call us

The questions we answer most.

Most of the calls we take are about the five things below. Each answer ends with the task that takes care of it, so you can finish without hold music or a trip to the office.

01
When will my name come up?

Each waiting list moves as homes turn over, and every list moves at its own pace. Your position and your contact details are both visible online, and you can update them yourself at any time.

02
How do I pay my rent?

Current residents pay through the rent portal. Your balance appears as soon as it posts, and you can set up a payment there without calling the office.

03
Something in my home is broken.

Send a maintenance request with the room and what is wrong. If it is unsafe — no heat, no water, a door that will not lock — mark it urgent so it is handled first.

04
Do you take my voucher?

A Housing Choice Voucher — often called Section 8 — is rental assistance that travels with the household. Start with how the program works: what you can rent, what your share is, and what to bring.

05
How do I apply?

Applications start in the waitlist portal. You can begin today, save your progress, and come back when you have the paperwork in front of you.

Eligibility

Three steps, in order, in plain words.

Every program asks the same things of everybody, and asks them the same way. Read this before you start so nothing slows your application down.

Step 01

See what counts

Household size and income sit behind every program we run. Read the plain-language summary for the program you are applying to before you fill anything in.

Step 02

Gather your details

Who lives with you, and what comes in. Your application saves as you go, so you can stop and come back with the documents in hand.

Step 03

Apply through the portal

Submit online and keep the confirmation. From then on you have a status you can check whenever you want, without asking anyone.

Resident services

Help with the parts of life that are not about paperwork. If something outside housing is making things harder, resident services connects you to the right program for it.

Talk to someone

Book a call instead of waiting on hold.

Some questions need a person, and that is fine. Pick a time and we will call you — no queue, and no guessing when someone will pick up.
