Notes from a spring consult

01 — Notes

Every formula begins as handwriting.

A consult starts with a conversation and a page of notes. What the season has been like for you. What you are asking your body to do. What you have already tried, and how it went.

Nothing is poured until the page makes sense. From there the formula is written out by hand and kept on file, so the next bottle is the same one — only better.

  • The season you are in
  • How you have been sleeping
  • What you have already tried

02 — Shelf

Small batches, kept in amber glass.

Everything the still room makes, in the order it tends to leave the shelf. Refills and seasonal blends are sent out without a consult.

03 — The Consult

A chair, a table, and an hour that begins with your notes.

The consult is the centre of the work here. It happens quietly, one person at a time, and it is the only way a custom tincture is made.

  1. 01

    Begin

Write a short note about what you are hoping for. A few lines is enough — there is no form to fill in and no right way to say it.

  2. 02

    Compose

We talk it through, and a formula is written for you alone. Strength, herbs and season are decided at the table, not before.

  3. 03

    Keep

Your tincture is bottled by hand and posted from Burlington. When it runs low, a refill pouch is sent without another consult.

04 — Parcel

Tied by hand, posted from Burlington.

Orders are packed in the order they arrive and posted from the still room. Seasonal blends, refill pouches, wellness boxes and salves can be ordered straight from the shelf; custom tinctures begin at the table.
