Harness fitting · Austin, Texas

Every dog gets measured. Then we find the harness.

Deep chest, narrow shoulders, a wriggle at the last buckle — we have fitted that dog before. Bring yours to the bench and we take four measurements before we reach for a single harness.

Before the shelf

Four things we measure before anything else.

The tape decides, not the size printed on the label. It takes a few minutes with the dog standing still, and it saves a walk home with something that rubs.

01 — Size

Chest, neck, back

Most bad fits come down to a chest measurement nobody took. We take all three while the dog stands.

02 — Coat

Short, double or curly

Coat changes how a strap sits and where it rubs, so we account for the fur underneath.

03 — Chew style

Carrier or chewer

A determined chewer needs different hardware than a dog who mostly carries. Same measurement, different build.

04 — Temperament

How the dog stands

Nervous dogs get fitted slowly, on the floor, with fewer people in the room.

The shelf

What we stock, once the fit is known.

Everything here has been through the same bench. If it doesn't sit right on a real dog, it doesn't stay.

03.1 Raw & dry dog food Frozen raw portioned at the counter while you wait, plus a short wall of dry food chosen for the dogs we see week to week.
03.2 Cat supplies Litter, wet food, scratchers and the quiet corners cats actually prefer.
03.3 Local treat brands Treats from Austin makers, sold by the scoop or the bag, so you can try before committing to a whole shelf.
03.4 Harnesses & hardware Straps, buckles and harnesses in every size we can measure — and the ones we would put on our own dogs.

Subscription box

We keep the fit as your dog grows.

A monthly box built from your dog's measurements, not from a size chart. Puppies change shape fast — the box changes with them.

01

Tell us the four measurements

Size, coat, chew style and temperament. A few minutes at the bench, or over the counter if the dog would rather stand.

02

We pack the box

Food, treats and the straps or harness that suit the dog you described — matched to what's on the shelf that month.

03

We re-measure as they grow

Come back to the bench whenever the fit changes and we'll adjust what goes in next.

Self-serve dog wash

The bay is yours. Bring the muddy one.

No tape in here. Roll your sleeves up and take the bay — the tub, hose and towels are already waiting, and you book the slot that suits your week.

Tub, hose and towels

Everything the wash needs is set up before you walk in. You bring the dog and the elbow grease.

Booked around your week

Pick the slot that suits you and the bay is held for it — mornings, afternoons, weekends.

Straight from the trail

Come in wet, sandy or creek-scented. We would rather you came in muddy than skipped the walk.
