Rooms & cabins

Two ways to stay
the night.

Two kinds of quiet — the rooms that watch the ridge, and the cabins that keep to the trees. Both sit within the same few acres, and breakfast is cooked here each morning.

The mountain-view rooms

Windows that open onto the ridge, a window seat made for a long book, and mornings that arrive slowly. These are the rooms guests ask about first, and the ones the sunrise reaches before anyone else.

The cabins

Set back in the trees with a quiet of their own, for the nights you would rather not see another soul. Close enough to walk up for breakfast, far enough that nobody will.

The kitchen

Homemade, and it never travels far.

Breakfast is made here each morning and served while it is still hot. Take your plate to the long table, or carry your coffee out to the porch — the ridge does the rest of the work.

Coffee is on before the sun clears the ridge.

Elopements

Just the two of you,
and the ridge.

Elopement packages are kept small on purpose — the two of you, a short ceremony, and breakfast after. Tell us the season you are thinking of and we will tell you how the light falls that time of year.

  1. Write to us

Tell us about the two of you, the season you have in mind, and whether you picture the ceremony on the porch or out on the ridge.

  2. Choose your morning

We check the date, tell you what is open, and let you know how the light falls that time of year. Early is almost always better here.

  3. Say it, then stay

You say the words, breakfast comes out, and the rest of the day belongs to the two of you and the mountain.

Tell us when
you are coming.

Send your dates and we will reply with what is open, for rooms, cabins and elopements. Booking with the inn directly is the simplest way to plan a stay here.

  • Tell us your dates and which of the three you would like.
  • We reply with availability and what is left on the calendar.
  • Once it is settled, we hold the room and leave the porch light on.

— we will write back shortly.
