Letterpress studio · Portland, Maine
Ink & Willow is a small stationery studio in Portland, Maine. We design and letterpress wedding invitations, greeting cards, and notebooks — then fold, trim, and pack every order by hand.
What we make
Everything is quoted, printed, and finished in the Portland studio. Wholesale and custom work both start the same way — with a note about what you are making.

How it works
Letterpress is relief printing: ink sits on the raised surface of a plate, and the paper is pressed into it. The result is a soft bite you can feel with a fingertip.
Tell us the piece, the quantity, and the date you need it, and we will come back with a quote and a paper recommendation.
Nothing goes on press until you approve a digital proof. Then we make the plates and mix the ink.
Sheets run through the press one color at a time, then get trimmed, scored, and packed by hand.
Wholesale
We supply independent shops, museum stores, and hotels with greeting cards, notebooks, and letterpress stationery — printed in small runs and packed to travel well.
Send your shop name, a link to your site, and the products you would like to carry. We will reply with trade terms, minimums, and what is currently on the shelf.
