The prices below are starting points — call or text and we will talk through what your chimney and venting actually need before anything gets scheduled.
Drop cloths go down before the first stroke. The brush is sized to your flue, the firebox and smoke chamber get looked over, and the soot leaves in a vacuum instead of across your rug.
Years of soot, algae and weather staining come off the brick without a pressure washer chewing up the mortar joints. Low-pressure soft wash, applied from the ladder and rinsed clean down the roofline.
A cap is the lid on the whole system. It keeps rain out of the flue and keeps birds, squirrels and raccoons from moving in. We size it to your flue, then set it level and sealed to the crown.

A cracked crown lets water run straight down into the chimney, and that water finds the framing. We cut out the failed section, rebuild the crown and seal the seam so rain runs off the top instead of into it.

Lint builds up quietly in the vent line, well out of sight. We run the full length from the back of the dryer out to the exterior hood, clear the build-up and check that the flapper closes the way it should.

The craft
Chimney work has not changed much in a century, and that is the point. A brush sized to the flue. Drop cloths down before the first stroke. A light in the firebox to see what the sweep left behind. What has changed is what gets checked while we are up there — the cap, the crown, the flashing, the venting — because a chimney is only as sound as its weakest rung.
Soot goes up the flue, not into your living room.
