Havenline Counseling & Wellness · Asheville, North Carolina
An Asheville practice for anxiety therapy, trauma therapy, couples counseling, teletherapy, and group sessions — built on the belief that good therapy feels something like a long talk on the porch.
The first conversation is free
Fifteen minutes, nothing to prepare, and no pressure to book anything afterward. Just a chance to say what’s going on and hear how we’d work together.
What we do
Every session starts the same way: two people, a quiet hour, and no rush to get anywhere. Here’s what people tend to bring with them.
For the racing thoughts, the tight chest, the what-ifs that won’t sit down. We slow it all the way down, and then look at it together.
You set the pace. We go where you’re ready to go, and we stop when you need to stop. Nothing here has to be said out loud before you’re ready.
Two chairs, one conversation. We help you hear each other again — and say the thing you’ve both been circling for a while.
The same unhurried hour, from wherever you happen to be sitting. All you really need is somewhere quiet and a decent connection.
A few more chairs in the circle, and the particular relief of finding out you’re not the only one carrying this.
You don’t need the right words before the first call. Tell us what’s going on and we’ll work out the rest together.

No long intake process, no forms to hunt down. Four unhurried steps, and the first one costs you nothing but a few minutes.
Fill in the form at the bottom of this page. Tell us as much or as little as you like — a sentence is plenty.
A short conversation to hear what’s going on, answer your questions, and get a feel for whether this is the right room for you.
Therapy works best when the person across from you feels right. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you so plainly.
In person here in Asheville, or on screen through teletherapy — weekly, or at whatever rhythm you can honestly hold.
Havenline is an Asheville counseling practice — anxiety therapy, trauma therapy, couples counseling, teletherapy, and group sessions — for people who’d rather be met than processed.
Teletherapy & group sessions
Teletherapy carries the same conversation to wherever you are — the same counselor, the same unhurried hour, your own four walls. And for anyone who’d rather not do this alone, group sessions make room for a few more chairs in the circle.

Tell us a little about what’s going on, and we’ll find a time to talk it through. There’s nothing to sign and nothing to prepare.
