Individual therapy
Fifty minutes, one on one, about whatever is taking up the most room right now. You set the pace, and you choose what we talk about.
Individual · Couples · Teen counseling
The first call is the hard part, so let’s keep it small. Fifteen minutes, no charge, and nothing you need to have ready — just tell me what’s going on in whatever words you have.

You’re welcome here
Counseling here looks a lot like a front porch conversation: two chairs, a quiet room, and an hour that belongs to you.
You might be arriving with something specific, or you might only know that something feels off. Both are fine places to start. I work with individual adults, couples and teenagers in Chattanooga, and I won’t hand you a script or hurry you toward a conclusion.
How I can help
Every session runs fifty minutes. We meet at a steady, unhurried pace, and you decide what we talk about and how far we go.
Fifty minutes, one on one, about whatever is taking up the most room right now. You set the pace, and you choose what we talk about.
A shared hour for two people who want to hear each other again, or who just need a calmer place to have the conversation.
A quiet hour for a teenager to think out loud with an adult who isn’t a parent, at their own pace and in their own words.
The first call
Nothing about the first call is formal. It’s fifteen minutes, it’s free, and it’s mostly you talking and me listening.
You don’t need notes, a diagnosis, or a tidy version of the story. Say what’s going on in whatever words you have.
Ask me anything — how sessions work, what the room is like, whether this seems like the right fit. There’s no charge for this part.
Book a session, or take a few days to sit with it. Either answer is a good answer.
Where I practice
Hartsock Counseling & Wellness is based in Chattanooga, and people come to me from Red Bank, East Ridge, Signal Mountain, Soddy-Daisy and the rest of Hamilton County.
No pressure, ever
Call or text and we’ll spend fifteen minutes on it together — no charge, nothing to prepare, and no obligation to book. If I’m not the right person for what you’re carrying, I’ll tell you.
