Harborlight Auxiliary Thrift Donate goods

Harborlight Auxiliary Thrift · Astoria, Oregon

A light for
useful things.

A nonprofit thrift store on the Oregon coast. Donated furniture, housewares, clothing sorted by size, and books and media — all priced to move, all coming in through the back door.

What's ashore

Donated finds, out on the floor.

Everything here came in through the front door as a donation. Furniture and housewares land where there's room, clothing gets racked by size, and the books keep coming.

Weekly tag sale

Every week a different tag color comes down. Find the tag on the item you're holding — that's the one that's marked.

Bring it in

Donations, scheduled around you.

Tell us what you have and we'll find a pickup window. Small loads are welcome at the counter.

  1. 01

    Set it aside

Furniture, housewares, clothing, books. If it's still useful to someone, it's welcome here.

  2. 02

    Ask for a pickup

Ask at the counter, and tell us what's waiting and where it sits.

  3. 03

    Leave it easy to reach

Set it by the door or the curb where it's simple to pick up, and a volunteer takes it from there.

Take a shift

Cashier shifts, around your week.

Volunteers keep the counter moving — greeting people, ringing up finds, and keeping the racks and counter in order. Tell the volunteer on duty when you're usually free and we'll match the shift to it.

  • Greet people at the door and the counter
  • Ring up finds and bag them
