Duluth, Minnesota
Halverson Coffee Roasting Co. buys single-origin lots from Ethiopia, Colombia, Sumatra, Guatemala and Kenya, roasts them to order a few blocks from Lake Superior, and sends them to kitchens, cafés and home counters around the lake.
Origins
We buy in small lots and roast them one at a time. Each arrival is logged with its origin, its roast level and what it tastes like in the cup, so you can pick the lot that fits how you brew.
Subscriptions
A subscription is a standing order. Tell us the cadence, the roast level and the grind, and a fresh lot leaves the roastery on schedule.
Wholesale
Cafés, restaurants and kitchens around Lake Superior run on Halverson coffee. Beans by the case, cold brew on tap, or an espresso bar set up and staffed for service.
Single-origin and house lots roasted to your schedule, packed for the bar and dated by roast day.
Cold brew in kegs for your taps, delivered and swapped on a standing route.
Equipment, beans and trained staff to run an espresso bar for a service period or an event.
Wholesale inquiry
Tell us what you serve and how much you move. We will come back with a roast schedule and delivery plan.
Apprenticeship
The apprenticeship is how the logbook gets handed on — four steps from green bean intake to a roast profile of your own.
Send a short note about your coffee work and why Duluth. No roastery experience required.
Weighing sacks, logging arrivals and cupping alongside the roaster.
Learn charge, airflow and drop time by standing at the drum, batch after batch.
Develop a roast profile, run it, and put it on the shelf under your own lot code.
Get started
One subscription for the kitchen counter. One wholesale plan for the café. Either way the coffee is roasted to order in Duluth and sent out dated and sealed.
