What we run
Every RFQ starts the same way — a drawing set, a material and a volume. What changes is which of these six lines the program needs.
Molded components produced to the part geometry in the drawing and file set you send. This is the base line most programs are quoted against.
Tooling stands as its own line. Molds are built for new programs, and existing molds come in for repair and go back into production.
For parts that call for a second material molded over a substrate, so one component does the work of two.
Inserts placed in the tool and encapsulated by the molded material, combining the insert and the part in a single shot.
Tooling for parts that are not yet at a production tool, kept separate from the production tool quote so the two can be compared.
Assembly work that happens after the press, so molded parts arrive ready for the next step instead of waiting for it.
Presses in the hall, mold work on the bench, and parts coming off the tool. This is where an RFQ ends up.
The RFQ desk works from your drawings, not from a brochure. Three steps, and the questions come back to you.
Start an RFQDrawings, a STEP or IGES file if you have one, the material, the annual volume and the tooling status.
Anything missing from the file set comes back to you as a question rather than an assumption.
Mark the follow-up you want when you submit, and the RFQ desk comes back to you by call or email.
Give us the drawing set, the material, the volume and the tooling status, and tell us whether you want a call or an email back.
