01 Apply & waitlist

Waitlist applications

Put your name on the list for housing assistance, and keep your contact details current so we can reach you when your name comes up.

Where you are on the list

Make an appointment and we will open your file with you and tell you what the list is doing, instead of leaving you to guess.

02 Have a voucher

Housing Choice Vouchers

Rent help you carry to a landlord who accepts it. We go through the packet with you before you sign anything.

Book voucher help

When something changes

A new address, a new income, someone new in the household. Tell us, so your voucher keeps working the way it should.

Maintenance requests

Report a repair and tell us how to get in while you are out. If it is an emergency, say so at the start of the request.

What we help with

Homeownership classes

Classes for residents who want to buy a home of their own. Ask to be put on the list for the next one.

The waitlist

The waitlist moves. We tell you where it stands.

When the list opens, closes or starts to move, the notice goes up here and we contact the households it affects. Until that happens, you do not have to guess — come in and ask.

There are only three states the list can be in, and they are written out below. If you are not sure which one applies to you, ask at the front desk and we will tell you plainly.

  • OpenNew applications are being taken.
  • ClosedWe are not taking new applications right now.
  • MovingHouseholds already on the list are being contacted about units.

If you have moved, or changed your phone number, update it with us. A letter we cannot deliver does not reach you.

Before you come in

What to bring, and how an appointment goes.

Nothing here is a test. If a document is missing, come in anyway — we will tell you what is still needed and how to get it.

What to bring

  • Photo ID
  • Proof of income
  • Your current mailing address
  • Anything this office has already sent you

Bring what you have. We will work with the rest.

  1. 01

    Ask for a time

Book with the form at the bottom of this page, or call the office. A question on its own does not need an appointment.

  2. 02

    Come in and sit down

Bring what you have and we will go through the form with you, line by line, at the table.

  3. 03

    Leave knowing the next step

Where you are on the list, what happens after today, and who at this office to ask for next time.

Already a resident

Repairs, rent, and the questions that come with them.

Maintenance requests

Report a repair here or at the front desk, with your unit number and the best number to reach you. Tell us whether we may enter while you are out, and if it is an emergency, say so at the start so it is handled that way.

Resident services

Lease questions, rent questions, and any letter or form this office has sent you. If you do not know who handles it, start at the front desk — we will point you to the right person rather than send you away.

Homeownership classes

Renting here, and thinking about buying?

We run classes for residents who want to buy a home of their own. Ask at the front desk to be put on the list for the next class, and bring your questions with you — there is no such thing as a silly one.

Come in

Ask at the front desk, or book a time.

Walk in during office hours and ask for the front desk. A question does not need an appointment. Application help does, because it takes longer than a queue can hold.

Call the office during business hours and ask for the front desk if you would rather talk it through on the phone. Language help: ask at the front desk, or when you book.
