Bridal hair, bridal makeup, and the calm room you get ready in. We work on location in Charleston and across the Lowcountry, from the first pin to the last look in the mirror.
Soft waves, low chignons, and half-up shapes built to hold all day.
Skin that still looks like skin, in daylight and in flash.
The whole morning, weeks early, with the volume down.
Mothers, sisters, and every friend in between, each in the chair.
The morning
The room is loud for ten minutes, and then it goes quiet. Someone's hair is up in a towel, the playlist is arguing with itself, and the first pins go in while the coffee is still hot.
Hair and makeup run side by side from here: two chairs in the same room, one bride and then whoever is next.
A typical morning
Every morning is timed from your ceremony, not ours.
The party
Mothers, sisters, and the friend who has always done everyone's hair at home. Everyone gets a proper turn in the chair, and nobody spends the morning waiting on the floor.
Party styling is booked alongside the bride's hair and makeup, so the room runs on one timeline instead of three.
Trial runs
A trial is this whole morning, weeks early and much slower. We try the shape, live with it for an afternoon, photograph it in daylight, and write down what changes: hair, makeup, or both.
It is the one morning where nothing has to be finished on time.
The veil
Nobody touches it. Then it is the veil: two pins at the crown, one last look in the mirror, and the room suddenly loud again. Car outside, everyone up, kit closed.
The last marker is the door.
Inquire
Send the date, the venue, and how many people are getting ready with you. We will come back with what the morning looks like, hour by hour.
