A tracked forestry mulcher cutting into dense brush at ground level, dust hanging in the air

Forestry mulching & land clearing — Kalispell, Montana

Ground gets eaten.

The head drops onto standing brush and leaves a mulch swath where the brush used to be. No burn piles, no haul-off, no bare dirt left to blow.

Before the head.
After the head.

Same ground, same pass. The left frame is what the machine walked into; the right frame is what it left behind.

02 — Rates

Priced by
the acre.

Four jobs, one machine. What the ground costs depends on what is standing on it, how steep it runs and how close the truck can get.

The numbers below are starting points. Slope, rock, species and access change the pass count — the final price gets set after the ground gets walked.

01

Forestry Mulching

from $1,500/ acre

Standing brush, saplings and small trees go under the head and come out the back as mulch. Nothing gets dragged to a pile.

02

Land Clearing

from $3,000/ acre

Heavier ground — bigger stems, thicker stands, tighter access. The machine takes it down to the dirt line.

03

Fence Line Clearing

$2.50/ linear ft

A lane straight down the fence, wire to wire. Brush and saplings chewed back to ground level so the line stays walkable.

04

Pasture Reclamation

from $1,200/ acre

Overgrown ground opened back up and left under a mat of mulch. Grazeable, workable, walkable again.

03 — The pass

Four moves,
one machine.

  1. 01

    Walk the ground

Slope, species, rock, fence and what is hiding under the brush. That walk decides how the head runs and how many passes the acre takes.

  2. 02

    Cut the line

The head takes a lane and holds it. Straight edges, square corners, a clean boundary where the brush stops and the open ground starts.

  3. 03

    Feed it

Green, dense brush gets fed slower. Light saplings go straight through. The machine reads the load and the operator reads the machine.

  4. 04

    Mulch stays

No burn piles, no trucks of debris leaving the property. What the head cuts becomes the ground cover behind it, spread back into the soil.
