Charleston, South Carolina — after dark

The city after dark is theirs.

After the tourists go home, the streets belong to them. We follow the leash out past the lamplight, into the neon, and make portraits that feel like a night out.

01 — Sessions

Pick your night.

Three ways to shoot, one city. Same wet cobblestones, different light — choose the night that fits your animal.

Session 01

Pet portrait sessions

A portrait session where your pet is the whole point. We work at their pace — long lens, low light, no posing required. Dogs, cats, and the occasional rabbit who runs the house.

  • Built around temperament, not obedience
  • One animal or the whole household
  • Images chosen for the wall, not the feed

Session 02

Outdoor photoshoots

We shoot on the street: brick walls, iron gates, side alleys and the long walk home. Night light, neon spill, and a city that keeps moving while your dog owns it.

  • Downtown Charleston after dark
  • Movement, reflection and real streets
  • Nervous pets welcome — we keep walking

Session 03

Studio sessions

Charcoal backdrop, one hard pink gel, and all the attention on the face. The calm option — no weather, no crowds, no distractions. Just your animal, lit like a headline.

  • Quiet room for shy or older pets
  • Consistent light, clean backgrounds
  • Ideal for portraits and print pieces

02 — Seasonal nights

Holiday minis and adoption nights.

Two short formats that run on their own calendar: a seasonal mini-session set built for the card and the frame, and coverage for the shelters and rescues doing the work.

Holiday minis

Holiday mini-sessions

A short session on a seasonal set, built for the card, the frame, and the relatives who ask for one every year. Come as you are — we handle the light and the timing.

Dogs, cats and multi-pet households. One night, a handful of spots.

Shelters & rescues

Adoption event photography

For shelters and rescues: we photograph the night an animal meets their person. Candid, fast, and lit so it still looks like hope in a dark room.

Coverage of the event itself, plus portraits of the animals still waiting when the doors close.

03 — How it goes

From hello to the frame.

Four steps, no paperwork energy. You bring the animal; we bring the light, the timing and the prints.

01

Say hello

Send a note with your pet's name, their species, and what you want out of the pictures — a wall, a card, an album. The end use shapes the session.

02

Pick the session

A portrait session, an outdoor walk, the studio, or a seasonal mini. We settle on a night, a meeting spot, and anything your animal needs to feel easy.

03

The shoot

We keep it loose and quick, working with whatever mood they bring. Bring treats. Bring the toy that has never once failed.

04

The reveal

You see the images, and then we take them off the screen and onto the wall — prints, frames and albums made for a house with pets in it.

04 — Prints & albums

Worth the wall space.

A photograph that stays on a phone is a photograph nobody sees. We finish the job: printed, framed, and hung where the evening light hits it.
