01 — Cut
Site prep & grading
Topsoil stripped, cut and fill balanced, and the pad brought to the elevation on the drawing. This is the part of the job everything else is built on top of.
Excavation & site work — Grand Junction, Colorado
Cut, trench, pad, road. Site prep, utilities, foundations, driveways and demolition across the Grand Valley.
01 — Services
Five services, one continuous line through the ground — a cut here, a trench there, a pad flattened and a road run out to it.
01 — Cut
Topsoil stripped, cut and fill balanced, and the pad brought to the elevation on the drawing. This is the part of the job everything else is built on top of.
02 — Trench
Water, sewer, power and gas lines opened, bedded and backfilled. Trench walls kept clean and straight so the pipe goes in once.
03 — Pad
Footings and slabs excavated to line and to depth, with overdig and spoil handled as we go. Left ready for formwork.
04 — Road
Long runs of driveway and access road, built up and compacted in lifts from the county road to the build site. Grade held so water leaves the surface instead of living on it.
05 — Demo
Structures down, concrete broken, rubble loaded out. The debris leaves with us and the ground stays cut to the line you asked for.
02 — Work
Most of what we do is only visible for a few days — long enough to cut it, shape it and get out of the way of the next trade.
03 — Approach
Four steps, in order, every time. The order is the method.
01
We look at the ground before we talk numbers: how a truck gets in, where the slope falls, what is sitting under the topsoil and where the water wants to go.
02
Bring plans, a survey, or a sketch on the back of an envelope. The pad, the trench and the road all start as lines on paper — that is the language we work in.
03
Cut, trench and grade to the plan, with haul-off handled as we go rather than piled up and left for the end of the job.
04
Level, compacted and clean enough that the next trade can walk onto it and start.
04 — Area
Two kinds of jobs, mostly. Builders who need a site cut, trenched and ready before the trades show up. And landowners past the edge of town who need a road in, a pad flat, or a knob of ground knocked down so a building can sit on it.

05 — Request a bid
Send the address, the drawing if you have one, and what needs to move. If there is no drawing yet, tell us what the ground has to end up doing and we will take it from there.
