Crowder Aeration & Seed

Traverse City · Grand Traverse · Leelanau · Benzie

Aeration.
Overseeding.
Call.

Your lawn is compacted. Water runs off it, roots choke, and the thin spots get thinner. We pull the plugs and put the seed down — that is the whole job, done right.

Core aeration from $165 up to 5,000 sq ft — overseeding packages to $395.

The Price Board

Four ways to fix a lawn.

The Work

Compaction doesn’t fix itself.

Traffic, kids, dogs, mowing the same lines all season. The top couple of inches of soil pack down hard, and grass starts losing the fight. Here’s how the job runs.

1

Call or text

Give us the address and a rough idea of the yard size. We’ll tell you which package fits and when we can get out.

2

We walk the lawn

Compaction, shade, bare ground, how the water sits. That decides the pass and how much seed goes down.

3

Core aeration

Plugs come out and stay where they land. They break down on their own and feed the soil while the holes open up.

4

Overseeding

Seed goes down over the cores so it sits in the holes, not on top of the thatch. Starter fertilizer goes on with it if you took that package.

5

Water and wait

Keep the seed damp and stay off it while it takes. That’s the part that decides how thick you end up.
