The Salted Rim Inn Rockport, Maine Plan a midweek stay

Ocean-view rooms · Rockport, Maine

Let the days
drift by.

Midweek and off-season, the inn keeps its own hours. The harbor is still out the window, the summer crowd has gone, and the wine bar is yours. Ocean-view rooms, gourmet breakfast, and nothing on the schedule.

The Tide Line

Twice a day the water leaves. Twice a year, so does everyone else.

Coral marks the quiet months — January through April and October through December, when the shore is empty and the inn is at its best. Midweek nights run the whole year round.

Coral — the quiet months Midweek nights, Tuesday to Thursday, all year

The shape of a day

A day here unspools the way the water does — slowly, and without asking anything of you.

7:00

Gourmet breakfast

Coffee first, then whatever the morning brought in. Nobody is counting how long you sit.

11:00

Kayak rentals

Take a boat out along the harbor rocks. No guide, no schedule, no particular place you have to reach.

16:00

Massage therapy

An hour in the middle of the afternoon that belongs to nobody else. Let the salt dry on your shoulders.

18:30

The wine bar

A short list, poured slowly. Sit by the window and watch the light leave the harbor.

Packages

Three ways to stay a while.

Each one is built around a slower stretch — the middle of the week, or the quiet end of the year. Tell us which suits and we will tell you what is open.

01 — Midweek

The Midweek Drift

Tuesday to Thursday

Two nights in the middle of the week, when the town is quiet and the water is all yours. Arrive on a Tuesday, leave on a Thursday, and let the days do what they do best.

02 — Off-season

The Off-Season Quiet

November to April

03 — On the water

The Long Drift

Three nights or more

For the ones who would rather be on the water than beside it. A kayak at first light, a massage in the afternoon, and nowhere you have to be in between.

  • Kayak rentals on the harbor
  • Massage therapy at the inn
  • Ocean-view room

Weddings & gatherings

Say it at the water's edge.

Wedding packages at The Salted Rim Inn take the whole shoreline into account — the ceremony on the rocks, the wine bar for the toast, and ocean-view rooms for the people you love. Breakfast the next morning, when nobody wants to leave.
