Songs from the holler.

Fingerpicked guitar, a voice that learns the room it's in, and songs about long drives and longer goodbyes.

The music

Grown slow, in the holler.

Clara writes the way the hills fill with fog — slowly, and then all at once. Fingerpicked guitar, songs about long drives and longer goodbyes, and a voice that takes the shape of whatever room it lands in.

Some nights that is a listening room with a proper stage. Some nights it is twelve people on kitchen chairs, and honestly, the kitchen chairs usually win.

Workshops

A circle of chairs,
and a song.

Bring a notebook and whatever you are carrying. We sit in a circle, trade lines, and leave with something that did not exist an hour before. No experience needed.

01

Gather

We start outside where we can hear the day doing its thing, and listen for a while before anybody picks up a pen.

02

Write

Prompts, half-finished verses, notebooks in laps. Nobody here has to be good at this — that is the whole point of the room.

03

Share

We go around the circle once. Sing it, read it, or pass — all three are welcome here.

Merch

The blanket comes out after the set.

Every show ends with a handshake and a look at what is on the blanket — nothing fancy, and nothing that is not going to get worn out properly.

Shirts & totes
Soft, earthy, and made to be worn until they fade.
Small things
Pins and prints that only ever travel to shows.
At the show
The blanket goes up right after the last song — come say hello.
