Pull up a stool.
Pick a bin.

Sensors in the blue bin, snacks in the red one. Kids work at a real bench with real tools, and every session aims at the same thing: something that moves.

The room

Low bench. Loud bins. Everything within reach.

The bench is set low so kids work at their own height instead of stretching. Bins are labeled in marker, because labels get rewritten the week the good scissors go missing. A build that is not finished yet can stay on the bench, tagged with tape so the next kid along knows what is still missing.

And the snacks live in the red bin, which is the busiest bin in the building.

Programs

Three drawers. Pull one open.

Each drawer holds a different way to spend time at the bench. Have a look inside before you pick.

Drawer 01

After-School Club

The weekly club. Kids pick up where they left off last time, wire up what they drew on paper, and debug it out loud with whoever is sitting next to them. First-timers start on a simple build. Kids who have been coming a while walk in and head straight for their bench.

  • Robot builds
  • Motors & sensors
  • Coding fundamentals
Drawer 02

Summer Camps

When school is out, the bench fills up. Camp days run long enough for a build to get finished, tested, driven into a wall, and rebuilt properly the second time around. Expect a lot of tape, a lot of battery swapping, and a demo at the end.

  • Multi-day builds
  • 3D printing workshops
  • Coding fundamentals
Drawer 03

Competition Team Prep

For kids who want their build to get judged. Team prep is driving practice, rewiring under pressure, and running the same course over and over until the robot does the same thing twice. Bring the robot that keeps failing. That is the one worth fixing.

  • Driving practice
  • Reliability runs
  • Repairs under time

Also on the bench: 3D printing workshops and coding fundamentals, folded into club and camp time.

Build log

Close-ups from the bench.

The bits that do not make it into the finished project photos: tape, teeth, failed brackets and the third attempt at the same gearbox.

How it works

Three moves, then you are at the bench.

  1. 01

    Pick a drawer

Look through the after-school club, the summer camps and the competition team. One of them is the right size for your kid right now.

  2. 02

    Tell us about your kid

What they like taking apart, what they have built before, and whether they would rather solder or code. The form is right below.

  3. 03

    We reply with next steps

We come back to you with what is running next and what to bring on the first day. Ask anything in the form — there is no commitment either way.
