Bend, Oregon  ·  Deschutes County

Standby power, built into the ridge.

Whole-home and essential-circuit systems set on a proper pad, screened like a fence line, and wired to take over on their own — so an outage never becomes your problem.

Owner-operated out of Bend, installing across Deschutes County — Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Tumalo and Sunriver.

What an install involves

A pad, a fuel run, a transfer switch, a service entrance.

A standby system is not an appliance you park against the wall. It is a set of parts that have to agree with each other — laid out so the house keeps running and the yard still looks like the yard.

    Sized to the house

We read the panel and the loads first, then work between the 24kW whole-home and the 18kW essential-circuit systems.

  • 02

    Set into the site

Pad location, exhaust clearance, fuel-line routing and screening are planned before anything is ordered.

  • 03

    Wired to be automatic

The transfer switch reads the outage and moves the house onto standby without anyone touching a thing.

Installed systems

Two sizes. Both whole-property work.

Sample starting prices for the systems we install most. Every job is priced after a site visit — the panel, the fuel run and the pad all move the number.

  1. 01

    24kW whole-home install

Carries the house — heat, water, refrigeration, lights and the circuits you would want for the length of an outage.

    From $10,200
  2. 02

    18kW essential-circuit install

A deliberate set of circuits instead of the whole panel — you decide what stays live when the grid drops.

    From $8,600

Switches, inlets, interlocks

Already have the generator? We can still finish the job.

The unit is only half the system. These are the pieces that make it safe, automatic and usable through a winter outage.

Upgrade

Automatic transfer switch

From$2,250

A correctly rated switch is what makes a generator automatic. It senses the outage, moves the load across and keeps the utility side locked out while the unit runs.

Portable

Portable generator inlet + interlock

From$1,450

A weatherproof inlet outside and a mechanical interlock inside, so a portable set can carry chosen circuits with the panel cover closed and no backfeed.

Annual maintenance

From $279, once a year.

A standby unit sits for months and then has to start cold in the worst weather of the year. The annual visit is what keeps that first start boring.

  • Exercise cycle and a run under load
  • Battery, terminals and connections
  • Oil level and filter condition
  • Fuel supply, regulator and fittings
  • Enclosure, pad and exhaust clearances
