Every one begins the same way — a short note from you, and a conversation about what the day actually needs. The prices below are starting points, never the whole conversation.
A ceremony written around the two of you and the place you’ve chosen — a meadow, a riverside, a family garden. I’ll meet you beforehand, learn your story, and stand with you on the day.
A service that remembers a whole life, not just a summary of one. Held in a church, a home, a graveside, or out under the trees. I’ll help shape the order of the service and hold the room gently.
Sessions for couples preparing to marry — the practical, honest conversations worth having before the day arrives. Money, family, faith, expectations, and how you two argue.
A short, warm blessing for a new child and the people who will raise them — in a church, in a living room, in a garden. Grandparents welcome. Offered free, always.
A shared plot in Bend where neighbors grow food together and anyone can lend a hand. Come with gloves, or come with nothing at all. Free, and open to whoever shows up.
The places
Most of the work happens outdoors — a meadow, a back garden, a shelterbelt of junipers at the edge of a field. The landscape does a good deal of the holding, and I try to stay out of its way.
Field note: the light is best in the hour before sunset.

You don’t need to know the right words. Most people start with half a sentence, and we take it from there.
