Cascadia, Oregon · Emergency Management

The first responder is your neighbor.

Join the muster. We will show you where you are needed, train you for the role, and hand you what you need to be ready when the call goes out.

The black frame is you. Every empty frame is a neighbor we have not met yet.

  • Emergency preparedness kits
  • Alert sign-up
  • Evacuation maps

01 — The roll

The plan is only as strong as the people who show up.

These are the roles that hold a town together when the power goes out. Pick the one that fits you, and we will train you for it.

Cascadia does not get prepared by itself. It gets prepared by us.

02 — Supplies for the muster

Kits by the door. Alerts on your phone.

Preparedness is a bag you can carry and a message you will actually see. Take one, take both, and put your name on the roll while you are here.

Emergency preparedness kits

A kit is a decision you make in advance. Tell us who you are preparing for — a household, a car, a classroom — and we will help you put together the one that fits.

03 — Know the way out

Train once. Walk out calm.

Courses are short, local and practical. Come on your own, or bring the whole street with you.

  • 01 Sign up for a course Pick a session near your neighborhood. Households, streets and workplaces all welcome.
  • 02 Walk the route Learn what to do in the first hour, what belongs in a go-bag, and how to get out on foot in the dark.
  • 03 Take it home Leave with a plan on paper, an evacuation route you know by heart, and your role on the roll.
