Plan the route before you commit to the climb.

Retirement planning at Bridger Peak starts with the Retirement Readiness Review — a paid working session that maps where you stand, which decisions come first, and what the terrain ahead actually looks like.

Retirement readiness · Roth conversions · Social Security timing · Investment policy · Tax-aware withdrawals

Route briefing

The briefing comes first.

The Retirement Readiness Review is one focused working session. We take the terrain as it is and work out which decisions actually change the years ahead.

You leave with a written route: what to do first, what to leave alone, and what to revisit when the picture changes. Ongoing work begins only if the route fits — that choice stays yours.

01

We read the terrain

Accounts, income sources, the tax picture, and the timeline you are working against.

02

We draw the profile

Where you stand today, and how each decision shifts the shape of the years above it.

03

You take the route card

A written sequence of next moves — ordered, specific, and yours to keep.

If the route is not clear by the end of the briefing, we say so.

The ascent — five waypoints

Every route is a sequence of decisions.

Read the profile from the bottom up. Each waypoint is a service, and each one changes the shape of the ones above it.

Retirement readiness review

The briefing

The starting waypoint. Where the assets, the income sources and the timeline meet — and whether the route you have in mind reaches the years you have in mind. Everything above this point is built on it.

WP 02

Roth conversion analysis

Tax position

Whether converting, and how much, is worth the tax paid now. We run the question against your bracket, your timeline, and the accounts you will eventually draw from.

WP 03

Social Security timing

Timing

Claiming is a timing decision with a long tail. We lay the start dates side by side and show what each one does to the years that follow — and to the rest of the route.

WP 04

Investment policy design

Policy

A written policy for what the portfolio owns, why it owns it, and how it is meant to behave when the weather turns. Decisions made in advance, not mid-storm.

WP 05

Tax-aware withdrawal planning

Withdrawal order

The order you draw from accounts matters as much as what you hold. We sequence withdrawals across taxable, tax-deferred and Roth accounts so the route holds together over time.

Timing windows

Some decisions are about timing, not direction.

Two people can hold the same accounts and reach very different outcomes because of when they moved. The route is only half the work — the window is the other half.

Before the briefing

Bring what you have. We will work from there.

Nothing has to be tidy or complete. The review is built to start from an honest picture, not a polished one.

  • A list of accounts — retirement, taxable, and bank — even if the balances are approximate.
  • Your most recent tax return.
  • Income sources: pension, Social Security estimates, rental or business income.
  • Employer retirement plan documents, including any old accounts you have not moved.
  • Insurance and annuity policies, if you hold them.
  • The questions you have not been able to get a straight answer to anywhere else.

Bring the questions. We will bring the map, the profile and the order of decisions.
