Sod & turf farm · Bastrop, Texas

Grown here,for lawns here.

St. Augustine and Bermuda sod, cut on our ground outside Bastrop — delivered, installed, or picked up at the farm.

The ground we work with

Bastrop dirt, Central Texas heat — grass that’s already used to both.

Blue stem is the tall native prairie grass that turns purple at the end of the day. It grows along the fence lines here, and it’s a good reminder of what a lawn is up against in this county — sandy loam in one yard, heavy clay in the next, and a summer that decides who’s tough.

So we grow grass that suits the place. St. Augustine for the shaded side of the yard, Bermuda for the open ground, and both of them cut, stacked and hauled out by the people who grew them.

What we grow

Two grasses, cut to order.

Both come off the same ground outside Bastrop, so they’ve had the same sun and the same soil your lawn is about to meet.

01 — St. Augustine

St. Augustine sod

Wide-bladed, shade-tolerant and easy under bare feet. The right call for a yard with a live oak leaning over it and a little less sun than the rest of the place.

02 — Bermuda

Bermuda turf

Fine-bladed and sun-loving, made for open ground and heavy use. Holds up to dogs, kids and a long Central Texas summer better than anything else we cut.

Soil prep, delivery, install and pickup sit under all of it.

How we work the ground →

Under the grass

The part that decides whether the lawn takes.

Good sod on bad ground is a wasted truckload. We start below the surface and work up — and we’ll tell you straight if your dirt needs a day of prep before anything gets cut.

  1. 01

    Soil prep

Grading, tilling and amendment so the roots have something worth reaching into. Sandy loam, clay gumbo, a slope that needs leveling — we look at it first.

  2. 02

    Delivery & install

Cut, stacked and on the road to your place, then laid and rolled into the ground. You point at the yard; we take it from the tailgate.

  3. 03

    Pickup orders

Back a trailer up to the farm and load it yourself. Tell us when you’re coming and it’ll be cut and stacked by the time you pull in.

  4. 04

    Commercial contracts

Builders, property managers and larger properties. Tell us the acreage and the schedule, and we’ll work the calendar with you.

A few details is all we need to price the grass and the haul — a front yard, a whole acreage, one reclaim job. It all starts the same way.
